This is my personal website and has no official affiliation with The Sun News. All views expressed here are my own.
I have been a newspaper reporter for nearly three decades, most of that time with The Sun News, where I have covered sports, business, city government and tourism. Since 2005, I have been an investigative reporter specializing in coverage of legal issues. I also spent two years (1999-2001) as an assistant business editor at the now-closed Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado, where I edited the Sunday edition "Wall Street West".
In addition to writing, I am a novice collector of rare books including first editions and signed editions by some of my favorite authors including Kurt Vonnegut, Truman Capote, Tennessee Williams and others. My favorite book varies from time to time, with Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" my current No. 1.
I am married, with two grown daughters, a grandson and a spoiled Pomeranian. I've traveled to six foreign countries and 25 of the 50 states, living for a time in seven of them. I've been to Obernau, Germany twice to visit in-laws. I'm a cancer survivor. I have a large collection of CDs by Miles Davis and Neil Young. I'm a fan of "Homeland" and "Mad Men" and I own every DVD of "Seinfeld". I'm lucky to do something I love for a living at a beautiful place where the beach is only minutes away.
